#SurvivingRKelly: Celine Dion To Remove R. Kelly Collaboration ‘I’m Your Angel’ From Streaming Services
Platinum-selling singer,Celine Dion, is reportedly joining other artistes like Lady Gaga and Omarion in reacting to the R Kelly situation as she is set to pull their collaboration“I’m Your Angel”from streaming services.
According to TMZ, Dion’s team are currently in the process of getting rid of the track after the “Surviving R. Kelly” docu-series sparked outrage around the world.
The Dion/Kelly track was recorded in 1998 and appeared on the Canadian singer’s holiday album.
The record topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts and stayed at No. 1 for six weeks after selling more than 1.5 million copies.
The news comes after Lady Gaga spoke out about her R. Kelly collaboration “Do What U Want (With My Body)”.
“I stand behind these women 1,000 per cent, believe them, know they are suffering and in pain, and feel strongly that their voices should be heard and taken seriously,”Gaga said in her lengthy statement.
“What I am hearing about the allegations against R. Kelly is absolutely horrifying and indefensible.”
