Ibrahimovic visits former Man U teammates on pre-season tour

Manchester United’s pre-season tour is now well underway, with Jose Mourinho putting his playersthrough their paces as fitness levels build before the new Premier League campaign starts.
Although the two tour games haven’t delivered positive results thus far, it’s just great to have Red Devils football back on our television screens.
Before the AC Milan game, there was a surprise for the squad, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic visiting his old teammates at their training base in the United States.United’s official Twitter accountshared the snap of the 6’5 Swede deep in conversation with the self-proclaimed Special One and our new coach, Michael Carrick.

It’s always nice to see familiar faces visiting the lads.
Ibrahimovic only left United a few months ago, but his short stay as a Red Devil as a superb one. He scored some vital goals in Mourinho’s first season in charge, but that injury seriously set him back somewhat. At his age, it felt like the time as right for him to move on, and taking his talents to LA Galaxy was an excellent decision.
No doubt he’s enjoying his football once again, and us United fans will always look back on his time at Old Trafford with fondness.
