Photos: Olisa Metuh Slumps in Court

Embattled former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Olisa Metuh, collapsed during his resumed trial in an Abuja High Court on Monday.
Metuh was reportedly trying to make his way to the dock when he suddenly collapsed to the astonishment of all.
Interestingly, the trial judge, Justice Okon Abang, continued with the trial with Metuh still on the floor.
As a result of his collapse, Metuh’s counsel, Emeka Etiaba withdrew from the trial in disapproval, saying he cannot go ahead with the trial when his client is lyingon the floor and evidently ill.
Justice Abang, however, insisted that Metuh’s counsel call his eleventh witness in the trial, insisting the collapse was an antic to delay the case.
The witness then came into the dock.

Metuh is standing trial for alleged money launderingof N400million being part of the funds linked with former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd).
He has severally approached the courts to grant him permission to travel abroad for medical treatment without success.
