Mary J. Blige has finally put the past behind her by settling her nasty divorce case with her estranged husband Kendu Isaacs.
According toTMZ, the Oscar-nominated actress-singer and her former manager-turned-husband were supposed to begin their week-long divorce trial today, March 5, but the duo called off it after striking a deal on Friday.
This interesting twist comes almost two years after the Mary filed for divorce following accusations that he was cheating on her with a mystery woman.
She later aired him out on her album Strength of a Woman, and he accused her of defaming his name to point that he could no longer find employment.
He went forward to demand for spousal support, which she fought, but a judge ordered her to pay him $30,000 a month in temporary spousal support.
Well, now they have settled and the actress is free from his grip.
We are super excited for her.
