Rio Ferdinand has explained why he is such a big fan of Jesse Lingard at Manchester United.
The England international was in fine form on Saturday as he scored two goals for Jose Mourinho’s men to help Manchester United wrap up an impressive 3-1 victory over Arsenal.
Lingard has scored three goals and made three assists in 13 Premier League games for Manchester United to help them challenge Manchester City for the title.
However, he has found his first-team opportunities in the top flight to be somewhat limited this term, with Lingard having only started three games so far.
But former Manchester United defender Ferdinand is clearly a keenadmirer of Lingard and he praised him for his hard-working display during the Red Devils’ win at Arsenal.
