Man City striker Aguero injured in car accident, ruled out of Sunday clash with Chelsea

Multiple outlets in his home country have claimedthat the Argentine forward has suffered broken ribs after being involved in an accident Sergio Aguero has been injured in a car accident in the Netherlands, according to reports coming out of Argentina.
The Manchester City striker attended a concert inAmsterdam featuring Colombian singer Maluma and was reportedly hurt on his return to the airport when the taxi he was in was involved in anaccident.
According to reports, Aguero, who it is claimed was wearing his seat belt, suffered broken ribs asa result of the crash, in which the taxi carrying theCity star apparently hit a pole.
Dutch police, meanwhile, have confirmed toSky Sports Newsthat two people had been taken to hospital but did not disclose the identity of the individuals.
Aguero's former club Independiente seemingly confirmed the news with a tweet wishing the forward well, saying: 
"Strength and quick recovery. 
All Independiente is with you in this difficult time".
The reports claim that Aguero will be out of action for an extended period of time, though there has as yet been no official confirmation from either Manchester City or the Argentina national team.
If Aguero is out for an extended period, he will miss a number of City's Premier League and Champions League games, wihle he'll also be absent for Argentina's crucial final two World Cupqualifiers against Peru and Ecuador.
