From best of buddies to beefing moguls, Jay Z’s brutal attack against Kanye West on his recently released 4:44 album has nothing to do with Kanye bailing from streaming service Tidal,TMZwrites.
According to TMZ’s inside sources, it’s all down to Kanye’s infamous concert rant – and Jay Z is clearly not buying any of the ‘crap’ that Ye was in anunstable mental condition at the time.
Jay was reportedly livid with rage when Kanye went on stage November 19th in Sacramento and first threw shots at Beyonce with largely incoherent lines before proceeding to call Jay Z for shutting him out of his life.
“Kanye was days away from going to a psych ward with some really serious mentalissues. We get why he [Jay] was upset, but give Kanye a break,”a source close to Kanye said.
Kanye had no idea Jay would go after him on 4:44 and was first shocked when he heard the lyrics,before going on to sever ties with TIDAL.
Jay’s new album contains the biting lyrics,“Iknow people backstab you I felt bad too. But this f*** everybody attitude ain’t natural.
But you ain’t a saint, this ain’t kumbaye.
But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye. You gave him $20 million without blinkin’. He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f*** was he thinking’? f*** wrong with everybody is what you sayin’. But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane.
”Kanye was recently seen bonding with rapper 2Chainzin what could be a sign that he’s moved on from his former mentor turned foe.
