The Houston Rockets have also confirmed the signing.James Harden, a member of the NBA’s All-Star NBA team this past season, became eligible for a Designated Player Extension (DPE).
Reportedly, he is still owed $58.7 million over the next two seasons, and the extension will add four more years to the newdeal, with four season worth a total of $169.2million.
AOL adds that this means James’ new salary will start at $37.8 million and will be increased each year, by 8%, until it climaxes as $46.8 million in the 2022-23 season.
This interesting update comes days after Golden Warriors’Steph Curry signed the richest deal– a new five-year deal that is worth $201 million dollars, that will see him earning $44 million dollars over four years.
