Jay-Z on Marriage to Beyoncé: Our Relationship Wasn’t ‘Built on the 100 Percent Truth’

Jay-Z has opened up in yet another confessional addendum to one of his videos in4:44, and this time the rap guru admits that his marriage to the pop star wife Beyonce wasn’t built on truth.
The video reportedly features interviews with various men of colour, including Jesse Williams (who is still battling for the custody of his kids with estranged wife), Kendrick Lamar, Will Smith and many more others. 
The men talked about toxic masculinity, black love and relationships with women.
“This is my real life. I just ran into this place and we built this big, beautiful mansion of a relationship that wasn’t totally built on the 100 percent truth and it starts cracking. 
Things start happening that the public can see,” Jay-Z says. “Then we had to get to a point of ‘Okay, tear this down and let’s start from the beginning … It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
”Recall that in 4:44, the rap legend admitted tocheating on his wife, how it took having their daughter Blue Ivy for him to realise he almostlost the best woman.In the new video, he recalls begging Beyonce not to leave him. “What is happening to my body right now? 
Did I just say … ‘Don’t leave’? 
All this is new for me,” he says in the video.
The new father of twin daughter and son alsoreveals that he played 4:44 to his wife for her approval. 
“We just got to a place where in order for this to work, this can’t be fake. Not one ounce. I’m not saying it wasn’t uncomfortable because obviously it was,” he concludes.
