Yemi Alade has amazing vocals, this many of her fans discovered yesterday after her brief battle with Waje over a contestant at the new season of music talent show, The Voice Nigeria.
So, drama started after contestant Kevin Seyi got four turns for his great rendition. Both Yemi Alade and Waje wanted the amazing singer on their team and had to battle in a sing-off to win the contestant.
The freestyle was started by Alade and Waje joined smoothly, giving viewers and the audience what perhaps should be described as the best sing-off ever in the history of the show.

And it turned out to be the first time Yemi Alade would show off her vocal dexterity.
To many music lovers, this the what Yemi Alade should be serving – vocals. They think she should quit with the Mama Africa genre she had carved for her self and use the cords she is blessed with.
“Yemi alade! Yemi alade! Yemi alade! How many times did I call you? Wow! So you’ve been carrying this weight of a voice and you’ve only been doing mama Africa tinz; mehn! I watched dis 12 times. I am dazed at ur pitch! Pls do a song that will show dis pitch again. I just fell in luv .wow!” Said one fan, and many others are echoing same thoughts all over social media.
Now, fans think it is time she ditches the Mama Africa genre and do amazing things with that strong voice. But, will she attempt?
