Heavyweight Legend Lennox Lewis Slams Ridiculous Mayweather-McGregor Fight Says There Is No Point watching

The super-fight Floyd Mayweather andConor McGregormay be set to shatter pay per view records, but boxing great Lennox Lewis has hit out at it, saying it’s a ‘ridiculous’ affair.
Lewis’ criticism comes in the wake of a similar put down by the legendaryOscar De La Hoya, who said the fight was a stain on boxing.
Former Pound-for-pound king Mayweather is the huge favourite, despite coming out of retirement to face the UFC superstar, and Lewis offers no hope for McGregor,Mirror writes.
“I can’t take it serious.
Mayweather is the best in his weight class, no one can touch him in boxing.
Every battle sport starts with hands but they are two totally different sports,”the former world heavyweight champion said in a recent interview.
“Floyd will stop him.
He is just too good at boxing for McGregor and McGregor is too inexperienced at boxing.
He can’t use his other styles.”
“I wouldn’t buy it on pay-per-view – but I would be interested in the result. To me, I know who is going to win already, so there’sno point in watching it,”he added.
McGregor is set to pocket upwards of $100 million from theAugust 26 bout, with Mayweather expected to take home almost double that and possibly bring his career record to an amazing 50-0.
