Jack Wilshere has found himself the focal point of a social media storm following praise for Manchester United's Wayne Rooney.
Rooney struck his 250th United goal on Saturday in Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Stoke, putting him above Sir Bobby Charlton in the club'sall-time goalscoring charts.
Man Utd's top 10 all-time goalscorersWilshere - who played alongside Rooney at international level for England - joined in the congratulations, taking to Twitter to share his message to the Three Lions captain.

Wilshere stated on his social media account in the picture above .
While some suggested that Mesut Ozil was a better player than Rooney, others begged the playert to delete the tweet before anyone picked up on his praise for a rival.
