Chelsea captain John Terry, didn’t feature in the game against Manchester United.The centre-back is still recovering from a knock and although Antonio Conte said in his pre-match press conference that Terry was in contention to start, he chose to go without him for this game.Terry instead watched from the bench as his side went on to win 4-0at Stamford Bridge.
After the game, he didn’t seem bitter about not featuring either as he congratulated his team-mates on their victory.
Terry once again proved that he is ‘Mr. Chelsea.
The 35-year-old was quick to praise his sides efforts , despite not being involved in the game himself.
He posted a picture of his fellow Chelsea team-mates in celebration, congratulating them on their performance.
The caption on the picture read:
“What a great team performance today from all the boys”.
