Arsene Wenger reveals his biggest regret in football, admit he might take the pain to his grave

Arsene Wenger has revealed that he is still tortured by losing theChampions League final in 2006 and admits he may take the pain of that particular defeat to his grave.
The Frenchman is currently into his twentieth season as Arsenal manager, and has managed to achieve some remarkable feats since joining the north London club way back in 1996 – including going an entire season undefeated.
But whilst he may have won six FACups and three Premier League titles, the Champions League trophy continues to elude Wenger,and it now seems unlikely that he’ll ever win it.
Speaking in a new book called TheWenger Revolution, by Amy Lawrence, Wenger is open enough to admit the heartache that still accompanies memories of the only time he reached the competition’s final, back in 2006, where the Gunners were cruelly beaten by Barcelona late in the match.
