'David De Gea is staying for atleast one more season!' – fans celebrate Real Madrid transfer ban

Real Madrid have been chasing the signature of David De Gea for a long time and were minutes away from securing it during the summer transfer window. However, a faulty fax machine scuppered the move and resulted in the Spain goalkeeper signing a new contract withManchester United.Los Blancos were expected to come back in for De Gea this summer, but a ban on registering players for two transfer windows seems to mean the 25-year-old will remain at Old Trafford for the foreseeable future.
Real Madrid can still sign players, but they cannot register them to play until 2017 under the terms of the ban, although they are appealing the decision.
Now,Manchester United fans have rejoiced at the news there will not be a repeat of the drawn-out De Gea saga again this summer.
