Manchester United could be without 8 first-team players against Watford - report

Manchester United could be without eight first-team players for the game against Watford this weekend,according to the Star.
Anthony Martial became the latest player to pick up an injury after he left France’s game against Englandon Tuesday night on crutches.Luke Shaw(broken leg) and Antonio Valencia(foot) will be out for the majority of the campaign, while Paddy McNair(abdomen) remains unavailable.Michael Carrick picked up an ankle injury in England’s friendly against Spain last weekend,Chris Smalling missed the France game with a knock and James Wilson is also a doubt.
Marouane Fellaini is also struggling with an unspecified injury and he will be given a fitness test before the Watford game.The absences of Martial and Smalling, in particular, will be a blow for Louis van Gaalif they do miss the match. Both players have been in good form as of late and van Gaal will be forced to consider alternatives in their respective positions.
