Cristiano Ronaldo: “I miss playing with ‘Pitbull’ Wayne Rooney” … will United make it happen?

CRISTIANO RONALDO says he could play alongside "pitbull" Wayne Rooney again... a declaration that willgive Manchester United hope of bringing him back to Old Trafford, despite a promised bid by Paris St. Germain. PSG are willing pay a world record £100 million for the three-time Ballond'Or winner who has an astonishing 1 billion euro buy out clause with Real Madrid refusing to sell - right now. But it is widely anticipated that this will be Ronaldo’s final season with Real Madrid. Next summer he will be much more affordable. Ronaldo left Rooney and Manchester United to sign for Real Madrid in 2009, but now says that he loved lining up alongside the England striker.Ronaldo had a unique nickname for his teammate, whose power on the pitch stunned the 30-year-old: "Pitbull".Ronaldo said: "I miss playing with Rooney. Maybe we will play together again one day."Ronaldo, speaking in a new BBC documentary about Rooney, as reported by The Sun, said: "He was the kid of England, everyone loved him."He was so powerful, I was calling him Pitbull. The power of Wayne Rooney is his mentality and strength and he never stops."He’s a fantastic team player and he scores!
