Kelechi Iheanacho made his long-awaited English Premier League debut for Manchester City on Saturday, playing less than three
minutes in their 2-0 win against Watford at the Etihad.
The Nigerian’s first appearance in the English topflight had been kept on ice by manager Manuel Pellegrini despite his brilliant showing during the pre-season.
Iheanacho came off the bench in the 89th minute for one of the Citizens’ goal scorer, Raheem Sterling as they secured their fourth consecutive win in the Premier League against Quique Sanchez Flores' men.
And he looked sharp during his brief outing in a game that saw his team remain atop the English topflight log.
One minute cameo is a remarkable one for him though, afterall he's only 19 officially and younyer than Sterling who is 20.
